1988_rgv250__Vw0Hk1UR12DeZ38As well as displaying its entire 2014 model range at this year’s Motorcycle Live, Suzuki is delighted to announce the launch of its new Vintage Parts Programme to keep up with the growing interest in classic and vintage motorcycles.

Launching with the iconic RGV250, the new programme celebrates key models from Suzuki’s illustrious history, and makes maintaining and restoring them as easy as possible. All models included in the programme will get every single part that is still available from the factory listed online.

A bespoke area of the website also features original brochures, point of sale material, workshop manuals and parts booklets available for download, as well as high resolution factory action images that are also available to download. Customers can join in by sharing any of their images with a upload function, too.

Suzuki GB Aftersales Marketing Coordinator, Tim Davies, said, “We’re delighted to announce details of our new Vintage Parts Programme, which helps us further meet the growing demand and interest our customers have for more classic machines from Suzuki’s history.

“I think across motorcycling at large we’re seeing a lot more interest from people who are looking for an older machine that perhaps they rode or wanted when they were younger, or riders who are looking for a bit of a project.

“Our Vintage Parts Programme makes the whole experience of owning a classic Suzuki even better, with specialist knowledge on hand, a complete list of available parts and accompanying images, and the service manuals too.

“We’ll be launching the campaign with the sought after RGV250K, and adding a new model every quarter, but we also want customers to share their own images with us of their classic Suzukis, some before and after shots maybe, and to also let us know if there are any models they’d really like to see added to the programme.”

The now legendary GT750 will follow the RGV250, with over 1,250 parts still available for the classic two-stroke machine. Other bikes to follow include the F and H models of the GSX-R750, the GS1000S, AP50, GSX1100S Katana, the GT250 E and X models (X7) and the G and CH versions of the RG500.
